Disclaimer
Following these steps/tips does not guarantee any confirmed ticket. But the chances of getting the confirmed ticket are 80% more. I have got 8 confirmed tickets out of 10 booking made recently in which some days was the peak day.

Steps

  1. Use Google chrome to open irctc.co.in
  2. Login to the site at least 5 mins before 8AM. Otherwise you may not be able to login itself because of heavy traffic.
  3. In the “Plan My Travel” screen, give “From”, “To”, “Date”, “Ticket Type. Choose “Quota” as “Tatkal” and click “Find Trains” button
  4. Please note the time which is available in the top bar of the site like given in the image above
  5. Please see your desktop time and note the time difference. For example, if the site shows 7:57AM and your desktop shows 7:58AM, note this 1 minute difference.
  6. Now till your desktop time reaches 8:01AM (time arrived as per the step #5), keep on clicking “Find Trains” for every one minute. This is to avoid session time out.
  7. The moment you see time is past 8AM in the site, click “Find Trains” again.
  8. Now the patience starts to play the role. For each below steps, please be patient enough to load the screen completely.
  9. Select the class and train, and wait for the availability status.
  10. Click “Book” immediately after the availability status is displayed.
  11. Give the passenger list and wait for the security image to display the actual text. Mean time you can give the ID card details. Please note that there should not be any special characters entered while giving the ID card details.
  12. Click “Make Payment”.
  13. Choose the payment gateway.
  14. Wait to load the payment screen section. After loading the page, give the payment details quickly and wait for the transaction to be completed. Please note that if you are using credit card, there will be an additional security password called “3D security” which you need to give.
  15. Good luck & you have a confirmed ticket now.

Makeup Man movie review

Makeupman, directed by Shafi after his latest hit 'Marykundoru Kunjadu" is reported to be a hit. Jayaram plays the lead role while Sheela (Telugu actress & Mayabazaar fame) pairs with him. Music composed by Vidyasagar. So when we say Vidyasagar music, we will expect more. Because whatever songs he composed in Malayalam, all were a hit. But this logic doesnt apply in this movie. Unless other Vidyasagar movies, this movie have only 2 songs (in theatres).

The story is very simple, a normal guy with lot of debts had to marry his lover and for survival, the lover is trying her luck as a heroine in a movie. Since the marriage was a secret, Jayaram is forced to do makeup man's role for his lover to always be with her. The lover's role as a heroine clicks and it creates problems in their life. It leads to the edge of the divorce. But how they are united at the end is the climax.

The movie, I would say an average. The first half of the movie is interesting with some typical Jayaram comedy but the second half was more of serious affairs. Back on track, the last 20 mins again turns into comedy with some extra characters coming IN. Sheela is not upto the mark in the movie as far as acting is concerned. Shafi might have tried for some other heroines. And i would have preferred Dileep playing the lead role because Jayaram is looking too old and he is not able to retain his old talent.

Overall opinion is "can wait till it comes to TV or in DVD"

Marykundoru Kunjadu Movie Review

Its quite some time i have been to movies and reviewed critically. Got a chance recently after watching Marykundoru Kunjadu film directed by Shafi. Dileep plays the lead role while Bhavana pairs him in the comedy tracked movie.

Well, overall i can say, this movie is ok. But for sure, i must say Dileep's popularity has come down in the recent times. He acts as an innocent & coward christian man in this movie which resembles many of his old movies like Chanthupottu. The music of the movie was done by Berny Ignatius. Eventhough he is wellknown for copying songs from other languages, he has done a good job in this movie. Shafi unlike his old movies, narrates a suspense story and taken the climax well.

Special appreciation to Biju Menon who has done his role perfect.
